Sheet size: 11×8.5 Card size: 5.5×4.25 PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR 4-UP POSTCARD Click on FILE, then PAGE SETUP In the PAGE SETUP, click on MARGINS tab Set top and amp; bottom margins to: .4 and quot; Set right, and amp; left margins to: .5 and quot; Click on the PAPER SIZE tab. Under ORIENTATION, click on LANDSCAPE. Click OK. Click on TABLE, then INSERT TABLE. Number of columns set at 3 Number of rows set at 3 Click OK. Highlight the 3 rows (put your curser in the first row and pull it across so that you are in the opposite corner). For versions of Word 5.0/6.0 follow 14-39 For version 2000 of Word follow 40-61 Click on Table, click on CELL HEIGHT and amp; WIDTH. Click on ROW tab. Height of rows 1-3 click on arrow, click on EXACTLY. Click on NEXT ROW button. Over to the right side are 2 boxes, highlight the top box and quot;At: and quot; Height of row 1: enter 3.5 and quot; or 252 pt. Click on NEXT ROW button Height of row 2: enter .5 and quot; or 36 pt. Click on NEXT ROW button Height of row 3: enter 3.5 and quot; or 252 pt. Click on NEXT ROW button Click OK Highlight the 3 columns Under TABLE, click on CELL HEIGHT and amp; WIDTH. Click on COLUMN tab. Click on NEXT COLUMN button Width of column 1: enter 4.5 and quot; Space between columns: enter 0 and quot; Click on NEXT COLUMN Width of column 2: enter 1 and quot; Space between columns: enter 0 and quot; Click on NEXT COLUMN Width of column 3: enter 4.5 and quot; Space between columns: enter 0 and quot; Click OK. To hide the table lines, highlight your table, right click on your mouse, click on BORDERS and amp; SHADING, click on BORDERS tab, under SETTING, click on NONE, click on OK (Jump to 63) Under TABLE click on TABLE PROPERTIES. Click on ROW tab. Under SIZE Click on SPECIFY HEIGHT and enter in 3.5 and quot; In the ROW HEIGHT IS, click on the arrow and check EXACTLY. Under OPTIONS click on ALLOW ROW TO BREAK ACROSS PAGES (so there is no check on this option). Click on the NEXT ROW button Row 1: SPECIFY HEIGHT: enter 3.5 and quot; Click on the NEXT ROW button Row 2: SPECIFY HEIGHT: enter .5 and quot; Click on the NEXT ROW button Row 3: SPECIFY HEIGHT: enter 3.5 and quot; Click on the COLUMN tab Click on NEXT COLUMN Width of column 1: enter 4.5 and quot; Click on NEXT COLUMN Width of column 2: enter 1 and quot; Click on NEXT COLUMN Width of column 3: enter 4.5 and quot; Click on the TABLE tab Click on BORDERS and amp; SHADING. Under the SETTING click the box with NONE. NOTE: if you would like to center text or wrap your text, you are able to do that in the TABLE tab and the CELL tab. Click OK. Enter copy in the 1st box, copy and amp; paste into the other 3 boxes. Test print on a blank sheet of paper and compare with design product to make sure that text lines up correctly. Make any adjustments to text at this time. If your template doesn’t fit on one page, make sure your margins are set correctly. Once you are satisfied with layout, print on your post card. Click here to print the Template
